I am finally getting around to posting some of my knitting projects. We have been enjoying the beautiful spring weather and so I haven't been on the computer much. I seem to have had a bad case of cast on-itis lately. I have also taken several classes lately too, so I have more projects on the go than normal. :-) At least that's my story and I am sticking to it! :-)
I took a mitten class a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it. I have finished my first mitten and I need to start the second one. The pattern is called Nana Hortons Mittens. I am using Susquehanna low cal worsted for these. It's dyed by the designer of the pattern. She is an indie dyer out of Havre De Grace, Maryland. I love her yarn. :-)
My next class was a sweater kal. We could choose any of the Knitting Pure and Simple patterns and I chose Cap Sleeve Cardigan Vest. I am using Berroco Remix yarn. I am enjoying this project.
My last class was the pattern Zuzu's Petals. It is a scarf/cowl or maybe a lacy bandana. :-) I am using Berroco Linsey, which is a cotton and linen blend.
I have learned at least one new technique in each class, but more in some of the classes. I am signed up for a couple more this summer. I need to finish up my other class pieces quickly. :-)
I finished my first Hitchhiker on Saturday and cast on for a new one that afternoon. The Hitchhiker is a scarf/shawlette and is a very fun, mindless knit. I am knitting my new one out of a dk weight cotton blend. It's coming along very quickly.
This is getting embarrassing! I have way too many projects going on. I still have several more things to show you, but I will make another post soon. :-)

Your knitting looks just lovely!!
Wow, your first-mitten has a double cable on it? I wouldn't have thought - I mean - it seems quite a challenge for a first-mitten. But how beautifully it turned out. I am partial to that pink color as well as cables.
I will confess that I am a multi-project crafter and so I didn't blink an eye at your multiple cast-ons. And even if something isn't yet cut-out of fabric or cast-on with wool, tangibly, it usually is imaginatively.
Such pretty projects, Heather! And I'm so glad that spring has been nice for you... It's a bit cool here, but will warm up for the weekend. Hope you have a relaxing Memorial Day!
Lovely knitting projects Heather. It's nice to do something different isn't it. My friend has just started her own wool shop from home and I got so tempted by a top and the wool to stitch it with I bought it! Every time she gets something new in I'm planning my next project!
