Thankful!

Good morning! Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. May your day be filled with lots of fun and happy memories!

I have so much to be thankful for in my life! I have been purposely choosing to look for all of the blessings in my life and focusing on them instead of the things that make me worried and it has really changed me for the better and I am thankful for that!  :-) I am thankful for the friends that I have made through blogging!

I finished Give Thanks on Tuesday evening. Hubby ended up having to work late and daughter was in Baltimore volunteering at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center, so little man and I watched cheesy Christmas cartoons and I stitched. :-) I did a simple finish for it so I could enjoy it for a few days this year. I stitched it on 32 ct. PP Doubloon. I used the recommended threads except for I used 436 instead of 422. The pattern is by Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. It was such a fun stitch. :-)

Happy Stitching!

Love, Heather

I love your attitude, Heather--we all have so much to be grateful for in this country, don't we?

Love that sweet turkey--I don't think I would have the heart to eat a turkey as cute as he is :)

Enjoy your December!

We do have so much to be thankful for don't we? We don't have Thanksgiving over here but I keep trying to remind myself of things I should be thankful for rather than focusing on the negative which I know doesn't do me any good at all!

Your finish is so sweet.

Such a lovely little finish. And you are so right - thinking of what is good in our lives makes us stronger and more positive.

Popping in tonight to say thanks for visiting my home tour and leaving your kind comment! But while I'm here...I love your little "Give Thanks" stitching, both for the message and for its charming design!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I like the over dyed linen and the pink accents in the Give Thanks turkey. The changing of each season does not fail to receive your appreciation - and show itself in your artistic skill.
